Hi, I'm Crystal – Owner of Pawfect Tails LLC
Hello! I'm Crystal, the heart behind Pawfect Tails LLC. I've always been passionate about animals, and I started providing more official pet sitting services around 2019. I continued through the 2020 pandemic as an essential worker, caring for pets when their families needed it most.
In late 2021, I took a meaningful break through the end of 2025 to welcome our beautiful daughter, Tala, and to focus on recovery after a challenging birth. During that time, I also worked on managing my autoimmune disease—it's still a work in progress, but I'm feeling stronger every day and thrilled to be back doing what I love!
I'm excited to return with even more dedication to providing loving, in-home care for your furry family members.
My Qualifications & Experience
I've built hands-on experience in animal care over the years:
Worked at an animal shelter, learning daily operations and animal behavior
Served as a vet assistant, administering medications and monitoring patients during procedures like spays and neuters
Worked at a doggie daycare, giving playtime, exercise, and group socialization
I loved those roles, but I realized I could offer the same level of care (or better!) through my own business—with less stress for everyone involved, including the pets. Pawfect Tails lets me focus on personalized, low-pressure attention in your pet's own home environment.
Meet the Family Helpers
Pierce
Pierce is my wonderful fiancé and a fantastic partner in pet care whenever his work schedule allows. He genuinely loves meeting new pets and quickly becomes part of their extended family. There's even some playful "jealousy" when a pet decides he's their favorite! His calm, affectionate approach makes him a hit with even the shiest animals, or animals that usually don't like men.
Tala
Tala is our curious toddler daughter, and she's already showing a big love for animals. She's learning the ropes of gentle handling—dos and don'ts included—and makes me so proud with how quickly she's picking it up. She often asks excitedly if we have "dogs today" or declares it's time to go see the puppies!
We only bring Tala along on visits with your explicit prior approval, and only when we know the pets are comfortable around little ones (based on temperament and any details you share). Her safety—and your pets' comfort—is always our top priority. Most visits are just me (and sometimes Pierce), so your furry family gets undivided, peaceful attention.
